Prodiscus Open Karkkila 2013 will be held at the Karkkilan DiscGolfPark on 10th to 11th of August 2013!

Following classes are available (minimum number of participants per class is 4). Maximum number of players is 144.

Each class has a number of places available:
MPO - 36
FPO - 16
MA2 - 36
MPM - 16
MJ1 - 16
International players (regardless of class): 10
Wild cards (regardless of class): 14

If some class is not full by end of registration on 30th June, those reserved spots will be divided to players in the line. Wild cards will be given out at the latest 15th July. Address your wild card applications to the TD at [email protected] by that date.

International players will register directly with TD at [email protected] . Please include your name, class, pdga number and year of birth to your email.

Course

Competition is played in the Karkkila DiscGolfPark, using a custom 18-hole layout. Course map will be published later.
Address for the course is Asemakatu 1, 03600 Karkkila.

Schedules

Competition will use continuous starts. On Saturday, we will play two rounds, arranged before both rounds. Groups will be grouped in three skill levels. On Sunday, one full round sorted by class and results, and 9-hole finals for 8 best in MPO, MA2, 4 best in FPO, MPM, MJ1.

Registration fees

Registration fee is 20 euros in all classes.

Deadline for payment is 30th June. People getting spots from waiting list have two weeks to pay. All spots gained after 15th July have one week to pay.

All fees must be paid to the Club's bank account. No cash payments!

Payout

Payout is 70% from the fees. In addition, we have added over 1100 euros of prices:

   * MPO winner will have 500 euros, 70% payout from 2nd place down
   * FPO, MPM winners guaranteed 100 euros, 100 euros added to both prize pools
   * MA2, MJ1 winners will receive Prodiscus Pro Bag (worth over 200 euros), 70% as gift cards from 2nd place down


Accommodation

Hotel:
We have negotiated a deal with the Hotel Rautaruukki (Koulukatu 10, 03600 Karkkila) for cheaper rooms for players at Prodiscus Open. They have limited number of rooms available (1x 1person, 3x 2person, 1x 3person).

Prices: 23€/1 person room/night, 35€/2 person room/night, 50€/3 person room/night. Breakfast 5€/person. Use code PRODISCUS OPEN 2013 to reserve at these prices. Reservations with the discount are NOT cancellable, and discount expires 31st July.

Camping:
Same as last year, we have permit from the city to allow camping on the restricted part of the course after competition. The scenery is beautiful and is costs you nothing. Campfires are not allowed.


Doubles

On Friday, 9th August, we will play non-sanctioned doubles. Best shot format. Fee 10 euros, payout 100% to top three (50/30/20%). Doubles fee only in cash.
Rounds will start between 16.00 - 18.00 when we have two pairs ready to go.
